Story behind this recipe

Your call has been heard - here's one of my favourite recipes, a dish from Georgia (in the Caucasus mountains).
NB: all quantities are approximate, and can be adjusted according to different tastes.

Ingredients

Beans (black, pinto, red kidney)
l lb cilantro
Medium bunch onion
1 medium-sized fresh garlic
Several cloves walnuts
1/4 lb or less olive oil
1/4 cup or more salt (to taste)

Cooking Instructions

1. Cook beans in salted boiling water till soft (it makes it faster if you have the beans soaked in cold water overnight) then leave to cool to room to.
2. Mince onions, chop cilantro, crush garlic put them into the bowl with beans add walnuts and oil, mix well - and it's ready!
